depending on your location, i have paid $200 (friend did it) to $2000 (company did it). If you want to do it would just take your time, and yes, most local permit offices will allow it and also tell you what to fix or will add notes of thier own for you as it is reviewed. Just make sure if you do it that it is neat and readable

At my company, we produce the drawings, and if we do the removations, you don’t pay for them. So typically our customers save $500+ (small drawings) – $2000+ (big drawings). A lot of professional renovators are like this. Also, it’s an ideal situation, because the renovator will of course understand their own drawings better than even an architects.
