My Handyman Applied White Caulk Right On Top Of My Grey Grout. How Can I Fix This?

My entire tiled shower has grey-ish colored grout, and when a little of it was falling away in a corner, the handyman decided to caulk that area, along with all the corners, in white caulk. It looks awful. How can I undo this mess?

  1. Do you have any extra grout? Hi, I’m Nick the Tile Man. That handyman didn’t take pride in his work. Anyway I have a web site that will go into details how to remove the caulk and apply grout. Its not all that hard to do. Look under re-caulk and re-grout

  2. If the product is silicon you will be able to buy a silicon eater which should help to dissolve this although it will be messy. good luck

  3. Once the caulk has dried through, you’ll be able to peel it away. it’ll take some time but, it will come off. if it leaves some white discoloration, caulk over it in a gray that closely matches you grout. good luck!
