Should I paint my front door the same colour as my garage doors? I live in an attached bungalow with the garage doors facing the street. However, my front door is on the side of the house which you don’t actually see until you go up the side walk. What colors are cool now?

No they dont have to match but they should coordinate. Any colors will work it just depends on your color pallete. Do you want dark warm colors like warm oranges, and rich brownish greens, and deep browns, or spring colors like peach, dark purple and sky blue. As long as they look good together then any color really. Play around with the color swatches at your home improvement stores and see what you think looks good. They also have paint tips and their own color schemes. Hope this helps.
I would suggest either painting your door a clean bright white or maroon. Maroon and gray go very well together, but I’m concerned about that light red color you refer to on your top brickwork. If it is dominant, go with the white, because red and maroon aren’t going to go well together. As for the garage doors, are they white now? If so, I would keep them that way. You really don’t want your garage doors to stick out.
You could try to find a red that will co ordinate with the brick for your doors, or just stick with a white or a cream color for the doors…..possibly a darker gray than your stone would work as well, but think you would be happier in the red shades as it will make the doors pop!
Garage doors are to be white. I have never seen a garage door any other color.
