Small bathroom 6′ X 8′ needs new toilet, bathtub with shower, pedestal sink, & walls and floors re-done. Plumbing needs replaced too.
Just looking for basic remodel. How much? (ballpark estimate).
Thank you.

ours cost $15,000.00. We had subway tile on the wall; and some kind of stone tile on the floor. The bathtub is “claw foot slipper” style. and in floor heat. Otherwise sounds the same as what you want to do. It took about 2 weeks and they made allot of mistakes. Make sure you document the model #’s , color, size, every thing you can think of, of the stuff you choose. (they got our pedestal sink wrong twice) and keep an eye on what’s being done all the time. Some of the stuff couldn’t be fixed unless we wanted to demolish it and start over UGH!
The tile was the wrong color but I was tired of the hassel and it’s not so bad, But really keep track, check and double check and .. well you just cant be too vigilant. Oh yah, you can have a couple of companys come in to give you estimates. It’s usually free but check that to make sure too. Man, you have to be on your guard here.

Assuming you hire someone to do the work and you use economy materials this remodel could cost as little as $3000 in the lowest cost labor areas of the US and as much as $8000 in the higher priced areas. Materials alone will cost about $1000 using economy materials..as as much as you want to spend for the expensive stuff. There is an online calculator at http://www.remodelormove.com that can give you an estimate on most remodeling projects.
Good Luck

probably around 5000$-7000$ if you are getting new dry wall, sink, toilet and stuff like that, the price could easily be brought down if you do the work all by yourself

I've got this idea to use this heater and this is an old thing that looks pretty apparent that it uses flames, maybe even powered by firewood. It has a latch at the base and it looks like from there that we could use it as a forge. It still needs some repairing, because of all of the rust and patches all over. Could any heater be used as my intent wants […]
