		<description>How about a white beaded wainscoting? That way, the top of the wainscoting is the chair rail and you don&#039;t have to paint anything (you can get prepainted wainscoting sections at a home improvement store). And the white would work well with the green and white stripes.
If you already installed the chair rail and don&#039;t want to remove it to install the wainscoting, you might want to get a very light shade of the same color green you used. That way it will match, but give you a contrast between the wall above and below the chair rail.</description>

		<description>I would try a nice chamois/camel/wheat color. If the green is warm go with a warm brown perhaps, or if it is more of a cool green, try something more beige or chocolate milk-colored. Anyway, I would go for something mid-tone. Sounds like right now you have very high contrast. A subtle, mid-tone color might be just the thing down below the railing. Good luck!</description>
