The Best Place To Find Home Appliances And Repair Supplies?

My husband and I are about to buy a home soon and this home needs a little work and upgrades. We are looking for the best and cheapest place to get some new appliances and also home repair supplies. We heard about directbuy.com but then read really bad reviews everywhere about it. Does anyone know of a place that is good??
Home depot of course.
I personally would wait for as long as you can and wait for tax season sales. HHgregg usually has a good sale then. Another thought is to go to your local Lowes and look at what they have for scratch and dent clearance stuff. Usually stores will have incredible deals on stuff like that. I know Best Buy, Lowes and HHgregg sell like that. As far as other supplies it depends on what you need. Just a toss up as to which hardware store has the lower price.
