How Long Do I Need To Wait Before Staining My Treated Lumber Deck?

I just put up a brand new deck made from treated lumber. How long do I need to wait before staining it? Also what should I do to prepare the new deck for staining? What type of stain should I use? Any preference on brands?
it’s a good idea to allow the wood time to dry out a little…. 45 days is a usual suggestion…… see, the chemicals that are the preservatives are forced into the wood under pressure…. when the pressure is removed, the volatiles in the chemicals need to ‘evaporate’ out of the wood ….. that’s the ‘drying’ process….. and it does take a while… now, summer, is the perfect time, tho…. all of what’s left of July and August and then stain in Sept….
